Review on Air washer Winia AWI-40, white/black/orange by Stanislaw Lambach ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I will not write about the advantages and disadvantages of the entire class of "air washing" devices. A review for those who know what air washers are in general and are interested in the detailed characteristics of this particular model. Discs 21cm. in diameter, 35 pieces, total area 2.4m. Air is taken in from the sides and blown out. Performance: Night mode 230-310 g / h (in different places of the apartment and in different conditions). 2 speed 340 g/h. 3 speed 410g/h. Energy consumption: Standby: 0.5W Speeds 3/2/1/Night Mode: 11W/8W/6.5W/5W Ionizer: +1W Noise, subjectively: 1 speed / night mode - quiet, but audible. In silence, you can easily understand if the sink is on. 2 speed - medium. Acceptable for the day, someone will be fine at night with such noise. 3 speed is loud, but not too loud. Quieter than a hair dryer. Acceptable for the day, if the window is ajar, or for a large room. Almost all sounds emitted by the device are air noise. There are no unpleasant tonalities (except for the noise of the ionizer). A rather quiet low-frequency rumble of the disc motor is not audible at a distance. The included ionizer - a noticeable crack or whistle. If the sink is plugged in, but no mode is turned on, a whistle is heard. Disappears when turned on.

Pros
  • Adequate device that lives up to expectations. Normal performance with acceptable noise. The sink can be easily disassembled for cleaning. The absence of a removable tank that gurgles, as happens in some models of sinks. I put 5, despite some shortcomings. None of them are fatal.
Cons
  • Inconvenient shutdown of the ionizer. Vibration at top speed. Not all indications go out in night mode. Inaccurate hygrometer.
