Review on πŸ”˜ Black Wayne 56517 TSC130 Utility Pump by David Cash

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The first crap, the second is good!

Stupidly we waited almost a year to test this and when we did we had a lot of problems with it. After wasting several hours, including a call to tech support with a ridiculous response (wrapping duct tape around a garden hose), we called the company to use the warranty t-shirt and were allowed to send it back for a possible replacement. The return was easy but we paid for the return which was wrong because the pump was defective. We didn't have any issues with the return which cost around $20 because we were so glad that issue was behind us. The company must reimburse the cost of returning the goods. The block was broken. Instead of pumping water through a garden hose, the water flowed out of a screw hole on the top of the device. We couldn't see it in the dark, water filled underground and thought the garden hose was the problem. We tried a few hoses thinking the hose was the problem and then we finally took the pump outside and tested it in a bucket of water and then we saw that water was leaking out of the screw hole. If you buy it, test it out where you can see what's going on and don't wait too long. PUMP CHANGING WORKS GREAT.
