I love the design of this water bottle. My little one has a good hold on it and I love that the straw stays clean when the lid is closed. When I first received the bottle I immediately washed it and then filled it with water to try it out. However, I noticed immediately that the bottle was leaking. I couldn't believe it leaked the first time I used it so I searched the comments on Revain for advice and found the solution! Firstly, the silicone straw is detachable, so it can be thoroughly washed. If the silicone block of the straw gets wet when you unscrew the lid, the suction cup will move when you tighten the lid. You'll see a small gap between the silicone "bulge" and the cap, which is why the bottle ends up leaking. To prevent this you need to make sure your silicone straw and cap are DRY before screwing them onto the bottle. As long as both parts are dry, they are screwed tight and the silicone suction cup does not move. Hope this works for you!
