This frame is a great size for a bookshelf or counter. You can also wall mount it (though there will be a power cord you'll want to hide). The wooden frame looks good although there is a small hole for the IR remote receiver. The image quality on the display is really good, nice and bright. Transferring photos is relatively easy if you connect it to your computer with the USB cable (included) or use a memory card or SD card. However, the guide is really just a quick start guide. Although I managed to get the job done, your grandmother may need some help. I still don't know what all the buttons on the remote do. I'd recommend fiddling around with the settings to get what you like - photo display time, effect between photos (or not), consistency or random selection, etc. If I could criticize a few things, first of all I'd say /foot/ bein/ Whatever holds the frame isn't as strong as I'd like it to be. Even when fully tightened, it tends to slip off when pressed. Another small improvement I'd suggest is a way to wirelessly transfer images from your phone or PC. This isn't a problem per se, but something I'd like to see added as a feature. Overall we really enjoy looking at the interlaced images of our living room on this beautiful display.
