I originally wanted to buy fabric to modify my Keno Flow t5 55w fluorescent light. When I received the fabric I thought it would be great to create a large panel that could be used in many different ways. I can use it as a background, bounce and light modifier. I sewed 3 inch pockets at the top and bottom and used 3/4 PVC to make the stand. Works great as a 5x5 whatever. NOW to the important part. Nylon is prone to wrinkling and won't make a good background unless you wash it. The internet told me commercial sewing of nylon usually helps with a chemical added to the fabric to stiffen the nylon. The internet was right. The solution, thanks to all those nylon flags, is to wash the fabric. After washing, I was able to steam iron the fabric. (Please low temperature) Notes; first sew, then wash; he has not shrunk. Hooray!
