Review on Set Of 6 Aquasana Glass Water Bottles With BPA-Free Lids, 18 Oz Each by Timothy Schroeder

I've purchased 2 sets of these nearly 4 years ago. The fact that the only time they've ever broken was when they were dropped a few feet or more from a tile floor is a testament to their durability. I also purchased the silicone sleeves which made me feel better about having 12 glass bottles sitting in my refrigerator. After some time I had wanted to try some other bottles out and bought another brand with stainless steel lids and sleeves. The sleeves were the awesome part of the deal bcuz they came with the bottles. The downside was that after a couple months the lids started to rust, which is just unappealing to see inside your lids. So I was definitely thankful that I had these bottles and that they were still reliable.The reason for the 4 stars is because of the lids. Not the actual lid, but the silicone (?) inside the lid that is susceptible to mildew. I have my bottles cleaned daily, both bottle and lids, but regardless of that over time I will have to pull out the silicone (?) and clean it separately to get rid of the funky smell.**For those who buy the silicone sleeves for these just be sure to take them off and clean the bottom of the bottle often. If you just wash the inside of the bottle and the outside but over the silicone sleeve you will start to see tiny black dots showing up at the bottom of your bottle. A lil bleach takes care of the mold and you're good to go.
