Not the best, not the worst.

• Used just over a month before writing a review. I would give it 2.5⭐⭐ if I could - 2 stars just seems cruel. I searched for the most suitable option for a long time and decided on this one. SHORT VERSION: Overall a good feeder but not great or bad. Would only recommend this for parrot sizes or smaller. I only used them for pellets because I give them to my parrots. I thought it would be great for catching crumbs and for the most part it seems to work. Then when it ran out I poured the crumbs back into the filler and voila. LONG VERSION (sorry for picky people like me who should know): • I liked that it came in a 2 pack. I received 2 packs of 2 (4) for my 3 parrots just to be on the safe side. It turns out that 1/3 came with a crack. 4 is not open yet. Use for food, not water • Lid feels comfortable. I like the surrounding walls that keep most pellets and crumbs from flying all over the place. I would like a version with better material and design. • It can be assembled normally, very easily and quickly, both assembled and unfolded; really had no problems with it. It may not work on certain tiles depending on where you place it. Be careful not to bump or knock it over. I didn't have to use the top screw part either. • 1 feeder for 1 parrot - each feeder seems large enough for 2 parrots to feed side by side, but they are usually territorial and the feeding area is horizontal. narrow, so they need all the space - they also eat at an angle. Apparently the food in the jar falls straight down on purpose - the food on top is sure to slide down, but when it's down it can't get anything to the birds. I took them apart and cut out the support bar as best I could and then put it back together to allow the food to slide inside. Even with cut slats, if there is nothing to push or slide in, the feed often gets caught directly on the ground and then it is no longer an automatic feeder. You eventually have to tap or shake it. • It may also seem like it's picking up a lot of food, but it may only last a few days if it doesn't get stuck. INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCES MAY VARY.

Pros
  • No Mess: This feeder eliminates scattered seeds and shells. Some feeders claim that "no scatter" really works. Your bird will come in and eat, leaving the shells and uneaten seeds in the trough-shaped compartment below!
Cons
  • Big and chunky
