I really love aesthetics so I really liked this humidifier. However, I'm an asthmatic and while I want something that looks good, it has to work. First, I had it right next to my bed and there wasn't enough power to really change the air. It was more like a little cheap moisturizer with essential oils. In addition, there was a HUGE cut in the eye due to the large red sticker pointing to the essential oil drawer (which ironically didn't open AT ALL). When I carefully tried to remove the sticker it removed the paint/varnish leaving a huge stain. The cheap varnish/paint literally wore off so quickly that I'm wondering if the moisture will peel the varnish off the whole thing? I will definitely be returning this, I may have to get another huge ugly moisturizer but ultimately I need something that works. And while I love the idea of a fancier humidifier, this one was cheaply made!
