Oops sorry I didn't mean to sing songs but this cleaner just won't let you start whistling while you work. Peeling cucumbers, potatoes, carrots and other vegetables is not difficult at all. We love it. It's ergonomic, much more comfortable than the cheap metal scissors we're used to. I really like the fact that it's ceramic so there's no chance of our food rusting or being contaminated with flavor or certain metal toxins. Also, metal can brown food faster, while ceramic does not. The price was very reasonable too. I'm so glad I spent an hour reading Peel reviews before deciding on this one. I hope this saves you some time for your own research.
