🔪 Effortless Food Prep with Shenzhen Knives Ceramic Peeler Review

This is my favorite knife. I had one that lasted about five years so I ordered two more to replace it even though I probably have half a dozen more traditional knives around our house. I cook a lot of vegetarian dishes and having a vegetable peeler that I don't have to fiddle with makes cooking more fun.

Cleaning fruit and vegetables can be a real pleasure. Not with this ceramic peeler. It's really razor-sharp and very light, making peeling fruit or potatoes almost a pleasure. I love it so much I try to peel potatoes from just one skin by turning the potato in my hand. I know some experienced cleaners can even do this with a knife, but I've never been able to. We love it. It's ergonomic, much more comfortable than the cheap metal scissors we're used to. While the idea of a ceramic knife is definitely good for keeping it sharp, the end result is that this knife wastes too much fruit or veg because the gap between the skins on the tool is too big. Thus, the shell is too thick and too much is wasted. The idea of a peeler is to remove as little as possible, revealing the fresh surface underneath.
