The best scrub! - Kitchen & Dining

This is my favorite knife. I had one that lasted about five years so I ordered two more to replace it even though I probably have half a dozen more traditional knives around our house. I cook a lot of vegetarian dishes and having a vegetable peeler that I don't have to fiddle with makes cooking more fun.

Cleaning made easy

Cleaning fruit and vegetables can be a real pleasure. Not with this ceramic peeler. It's really razor-sharp and very light, making peeling fruit or potatoes almost a pleasure. I love it so much I try to peel potatoes from just one skin by turning the potato in my hand. I know some experienced cleaners can even do this with a knife, but I've never been able to. Either the skin was pulled too deep or too shallow and the skin ended up being torn open. This peeler requires no more pressure than is…

"Come go go go with me! "

Oops sorry I didn't mean to sing songs but this cleaner just won't let you start whistling while you work. Peeling cucumbers, potatoes, carrots and other vegetables is not difficult at all. We love it. It's ergonomic, much more comfortable than the cheap metal scissors we're used to. I really like the fact that it's ceramic so there's no chance of our food rusting or being contaminated with flavor or certain metal toxins. Also, metal can brown food faster, while ceramic does not. The price was…

I was skeptical but they really are the best.

I bought knives as a gift for my mother for the New Year. She's always upset because she can't find knives that stay sharp. She bought steel knives for a few hundred dollars that don't ship. We were both impressed with how easily these knives cut through everything we tried. vegetables, spices, fruits. One of our biggest complaints is that every knife we've tried just slices through the turkey when you slice it. We had a beautifully cut turkey for New Year's! We are believers now! We even…

Customer service that never stops.

A little revision of my review. I originally did the review after a vegetable peeler failed. I liked the sharpness and quality so much that I didn't want to give a bad rating. I've given three stars and a rating in quotes below. Shortly after the review, the company commented on my review that after some effort to contact them, a replacement was available. To be honest, I didn't bother because I was lazy. It was a less than $10 purchase and I just wrote it off. But. These people cared enough…

Great idea, poorly designed

While the idea of a ceramic knife is definitely good for keeping it sharp, the end result is that this knife wastes too much fruit or veg because the gap between the skins on the tool is too big. Thus, the shell is too thick and too much is wasted. The idea of a peeler is to remove as little as possible, revealing the fresh surface underneath. Unfortunately, the angle and thickness of this peeler basically pierces through a fruit or veg instead of peeling them like a knife. This creates…
