The light arrived dented. We live in a very sunny climate so there is ample opportunity to capture light but it doesn’t light up for long. I’m a very early riser. This morning I looked out the window at 3 am and the lights were barely visible. The light is not bright but it does add to the ambiance and prevents the backyard from being completely dark. I have them hanging on shepherd’s hooks because the hook that came with it is plastic. It’s also not clear when you put the rubber ring around the top, if the lid is supposed to fit in or sit on top. I was reluctant to push it too much. The item seems sturdy for now. We will see how it handles the humidity and rain. UPDATE one has completely stopped working.Update: looking out at midnight and one light is barely lit but the other one is fine. Still wondering about whether the rubber ring around the top makes any difference. Haven’t had any rain in weeks. I might bring them in today because rain is in the forecast.
