A fun, inexpensive set for playing with small paint cans.

For under $25 this is a fun set to play with. There are 50 colors in a beautiful light metal box. As you can see in one of the photos I've included, the tubes of paint are small, smaller than the tray halves that are most commonly used in watercolor kits. The set contains several brushes, including water. The brushes are acceptable but I prefer my Princeton Aqua Elite and Escoda. This set also includes some paper. It does not state that it is 100% cotton. It works very well wet on wet and both sides of the paper can be used. Contains 10 sheets of paper. The finish is comparable to professional watercolor paints. It mixes very well and makes the painting wet on wet. I have attached two sample images on the paper provided. When drawing the four trees, I also used a white Stabilo CarbOthello pen and a black Micron pen. The color choice is good. Metallic gold appears slightly green when wet, but dries to a more neutral color. Some of the color names are a bit misleading, such as "Diamond Green Purple". BUT? If I had one thing to complain about, it would be the little color baths. But there you can get 50 tubes of paint, 10 sheets of good paper, some brushes and a nice metal case for less than twenty-five dollars. You really can't complain about the price. I could see that this set would be fun for kids or light enough to take to paint outside.
