Review on 🦎 REPTI ZOO Reptile Glass Terrarium: Advanced Double Hinge Door and Screen Ventilation in 36x18x18, 36x18x24, and 24x18x36 Sizes (Knock-Down) by Stephanie Hicks

I was heartbroken looking through the back of this tank and realizing that 1) the bottom piece of glass had horrible cracks that weren't there the last time i cleaned it, and 2) my snake is gone. She was a climber and climbed through the openings to gain access to the cable lock at the top of the tank. It took me a few days to notice because she is a digger. I've been searching diligently for weeks and I feel absolutely awful. She can be gone forever. I started thinking about buying a new snake, but I still have a coco-shaped hole in my heart. Very disappointed with this product from the shards to the broken glass to the escape routes they gave my snake. All of this happened in about 3 months. I'll consider changing my rating when I get a response from the company, but I haven't been able to find a way to contact them yet, so I'm waiting for them. First tip: some assembly is required and it's difficult to do if the parts have been damaged. I had to hot glue the top of the case although it is sturdy and there was enough reinforcement in the construction to hold it together. Hot glue held it in place for construction. I did it myself but installing the black framed top required two people. Some elbow lubrication is required and there was some swearing. The instructions weren't the best, but it wasn't terrible. The canal lock was missing parts so I had to patch the huge hole it left. I thought I was stupid, but it turns out I just didn't have the parts. I ended up using this hole to run the thermostat and heating pad so it wasn't a total waste. Swinging doors aren't perfectly aligned, although this has little effect other than sometimes causing the lock to get stuck on the door. I have not contacted the company about any of these issues as I have dealt with them fairly well myself and didn't feel it needed a fix. Overall I'm happy with it, but there were a number of issues that made it very inconvenient. The price was good, the bottom is solid and thanks to that it's waterproof, it looks good, there's a lot of ventilation, the lock makes sure I close it properly, there are two keys in case you accidentally throw one in the tank and not realizing you did it and cleaning it up easily enough.
