Review on 🚗 Black Weatherbeater Floor Liners for 2014-2019 Lexus GX460 & 2013-2019 Toyota 4Runner by Husky Liners by Tom Reid

I have a 2013 4Runner and got split between them and Weather Techs. I've scoured the 4Runner and even Tacoma forums to see what others think. Well, it looks like both weather techs have about the same number of upvotes and downvotes for the same conflicting reasons. Go under the driver's side pedals and they cover that foot block. I know that area on the far left where you can put your foot, which also "attracts" dirt. However, Weather Tech tipped the scales with reviews that seemed to suggest Weather Tech was a better fit* than Huskies. Wow how to solve. I switched to my typical tie-break. Bought made in America. It won't help much there since they are both made here :). Okay so why did I pick them and why 5 stars. Another hour later I came across a review on the 4Runner forums stating that both are equally good anyway but save the money and use it for another item. Weather Techs cost about $40 more for both series, but I didn't let that be the deciding factor. If I spend $164 on carpet, then $200 doesn't matter if it's the best product. Well I'm so glad I saved $40 because these huskies are AWESOME! The "bad reviews" on the 4Runner forum about them were mostly because they fit. As far as I can tell, it looks like they were made by Toyota specifically for my car. The custom fit was PERFECT. They also have a nice "bowl" that rises up from all four sides and corners and really protects your carpet and plastic trim from dirt, rocks, clay, baby food, etc. When you buy heavy duty, long lasting floor mats. You should expect them to be "sturdy" and not "slim and dainty" (some people have complained that the bowl was too high and "things" they loaded and removed fell into it are. Really? That's not a problem as they're more than low enough not to cause any problems. They're easy to get in and out of and never snag on them. They're very strong, but light and thin. In a good way and wise.They don't have to be "thick and bulky" to be strong.I also like the fact that they have "spikes" to cling to the carpet and not move.Weather techs do they don't and many complain that they slip This is not a problem with Huskies Durable outdoor mats to protect your installations Save $40 on Weather Techs and buy them.
