Has worked for 2 weeks and started making noise

Completely dissatisfied with this product. I bought it in late spring because my original was starting to deteriorate. I installed it 2 weeks ago and within a week it started making all sorts of noises. I sat embarrassed at a traffic light and thought that someone was blowing on me.
