I received these to replace the original one that came with my lamp. Since it's not an original component, it works for what I need. However, this cable has some design flaws. First, the dimmable control is HUGE. I mean it's bulky! Second, the bulky controller is closer to a plug than a lightbulb. I have this lamp on my adjustable desk and I literally have to get on all fours to turn it on every morning (it's at work, we can't leave it on overnight).
