12/2012: I noticed that the cable on the current $2 picture is not what I have, mine has one 3.5mm audio cable. the cable works great! (new computer, Win 7). I bought it to share the monitor connection with the Vizio LCD TV monitor input so I can watch Netflix Instant View and other stuff on the TV screen instead of my PC. My TV is near a computer tower, I understand it degrades if you have to go too far, mine doesn't, I bought it with (Cables To Go - 43098 - 25ft HD15 M/M UXGA Monitor Cable w/ Audio 3.5mm (Black)) And it was very easy to connect both a computer monitor and a 25ft cable from the TV input to the output on the tower. I wasn't sure if this would work after reading the reviews about it, but it works and it's amazing. I spent a small amount that some are willing to pay 2 or 300 to already be in an LCD TV. VIP NOTE: You must have everything plugged in at both ends (not audio) to see your screens (both) working. It seems for the first half way without a TV end, I thought there was no deterioration, but after plugging everything in and filling all the connections everything was fine. If you find you have the correct sockets on the tower and TV this will work great but I wouldn't run much longer than I did just in case it gets worse. My computer is two years old (before Vista) so it's not as fast as Vista machines while working fine. I think my computer comes preinstalled with a Nivida card? Anyway, it works great, google it and find out what it takes and if that's all it works fine ;O)
