Can't say much about quality as never fitted. However, apart from the plug, it looks identical to my original alternator. This has a 3 pin connector, my 1997 Civic EX 1.6L V-tec has a 4 pin connector. There may be two different alternators for this car but the Revain install manual says they will fit but they don't. The picture clearly shows (now) that it is a 3 pin, however at the time of purchase there was only a picture of the front of the alternator. It was a shame because it was a great price and I had to return it and then just drive to Advance Auto to pay another $30.
