chic professional glass for those who understand photography regular 24-70 2.8 no matter tamron / sigma or native nikon - just aside sigma 24mm 1.4 gives an airy and three-dimensional picture, with good contrast. after SUCH glass it is very difficult to shoot on anything else, because the quality of other glasses simply hurts the eye. if a stabilizer and all-weather protection were added to it, then it would be an almost perfect staffer for ff and the most perfect 35mm for crop - but this is only in dreams, and the price would be 1.5-2 times higher. definitely a chic fix for those who shoot wide and like to convey volume. earlier on my Nikon D700 / D3s the Nikkor 24-70 2.8 was a staffer - now up to 70% of wedding photos were taken precisely with sigma, the rest with large focal lengths such as 85mm / 135mm.
