You definitely get what you pay for. This product should work fine for a while, but if you open the pet hole too many times it will start to crack. If the pet hole breaks, the carrier can be discarded as the hole is large enough for a cat to crawl through. Also, the plastic for the entire product is very thin. As I said, it should work for a while, but be prepared to replace it.
