I've always used Canon cameras, my latest being the Powershot A540, a solid camera for its time. Last year I decided to upgrade to this device and after reading the reviews I decided it would fit the bill. While the camera took some brilliant shots, I have three main issues that make using the camera annoying. There is a serious battery issue, when I plan to use the camera on vacation and make sure it is fully charged before using, I experience a total failure. The display says "Charge battery" and only after eight shots. Take it off, turn it on again and it will show the battery is charged. Then I have to play this game all the time. Thank God I had a backup camera.2. Wi-Fi varies by region. I'm in the Caribbean and was looking forward to this feature, lo and behold when I try to install it tells me it's not for my region. What nonsense.3. When I use the camera in auto mode to shoot in low light, I get the worst shots. I had to fiddle with manual mode to find the right mode to take the picture. Worst of all, and to my dismay, my iPhone just took the picture, like it was a Sunday morning. I am extremely disappointed in this device and would not recommend it to anyone, too problematic for point and shoot.
