I wanted something portable that I could take to conferences and events wirelessly, or set up without a tripod or stabilizer. This camera is really amazing and reliable model. This is my second Canon ELPH camera, it replaces the ELPH 100. The pixel count is the same but I would like an extra zoom and Wi-Fi. The batteries last a long time. Over 300 shots and 12 short 1080p videos recorded in 3 days, charged every night, but the battery indicator showed almost full charge all the time. This ELPH 330HS was bought to replace a Canon PowerShot A540. The 330HS is a good travel camera. My wife uses it as a soap dish; She likes it because most of the controls are similar to those on the A540, which she is familiar with.
