Good solid quality. A nice feature is that the battery terminals are encased in insulating plastic, which prevents accidental (and dangerous!) shorting when "fingered around" in tight spaces, like on my golf cart. DC voltage converter 48V to 12V DC voltage. . At the cigarette lighter end, the outer shell is negative and the inner circular disc is positive. One of the previous reviewers noted that the wires only connect to one jaw of the battery terminals and it would be better if both jaws of each bracket were connected together. I did this with a loop of insulated wire and small automotive style crimp connectors. With a thin #2 washer over the extra crimp connector, the existing screw is long enough to hold everything together. I did this for my own amusement to upgrade the terminal block connections so they can handle 25 amps of #12 wires. However, this modification is not required - this Bestek product is good "as is" and I recommend it as a well made product.
