Battat make quality toys/furniture at affordable prices and this stool is no exception. A solid wood two-tier stool for around 25 euros is hard to beat. The style/design makes it look like a high end kids store. Assembly, as the other reviewers mentioned, isn't as easy as one would like. Although there are only a few screws, it's a bit difficult to align the screws and keep them from turning while you tighten them. Once assembled the chair felt sturdy and my 18 month old son immediately wanted to try it. THE MAIN PROBLEM is that the legs of the stool do not stick together. It's just smooth treated wood and the rounded design makes it worse. It glides on any smooth surface and I'd have to add some sort of handle to its underside or a trip to the ER would be in our future. I am so disappointed that this was not designed with security in mind.
