I like that it works. The best part is that the shaft is made of stainless steel. My old fuel gauge was plastic and junk. As you can see from the photo, the plastic has bent and failed. My gas sensor didn't work. This new one was so easy to install. No problems with gasket and hole alignment. The only criticism was that the supplied screws had fine threads. And the tank has adopted standard size threaded bolts. I could use the old ones. I checked if the sensor is working. It also seems very accurate. Excellent float system. Much better than those float fuel gauges. I definitely recommend getting this. I bought the 8" because my tank is 10" deep. I prefer to know I have enough fuel in reserve.
