I bought this tablet to replace an old 10 inch Samsung tablet that has served me well for about 4 years. When I first set it up, there were a few things that bothered me, such as the "Startup Music" that the tablet plays at FULL VOLUME when the tablet boots up. As far as I can tell, it can't be turned off and is very annoying. Most other things can be adjusted in the settings and this managed to recover my data from my google account. The tablet is quite fast, although at times it falters for longer than I should, e.g. vice versa. The real problem, however, is the brightness and clarity of the screen. I have to run the tablet at full brightness to get a decent picture. Even at full brightness it still doesn't look as good as my 4 year old Samsung tablet and I'm running it at around 25% brightness. I pulled up some images on Google Photos on both tablets and compared them and the image on this tablet is definitely inferior to my old tablet. I don't think there's anything wrong with the screen, it's just not that good. Ultimately, this was a handicap for me as I expected the new tablet to have a better screen than the four-year-old tablet. i will return it
