These filters were purchased for use in a Kenmore Progressive 116 upright vacuum Thursday evening. The filters came without individual packaging. Instead, they were packaged in a small zippered pouch that kept them securely together in the shipping box, preventing damage. When I first ordered them I was extremely pleased to find that the replacement filters I received are exactly the same. to the original that came with the vacuum cleaner. The only slight difference is that my original filter is printed "HEP A Media Filter #86889 MC-V199H". #40324" while there is no such text on the placeholders. Other than that, there is absolutely no difference in the material or quality of the filter itself, the cardboard frame, or the foam gasket. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the original and the replacement are likely are made by the same manufacturer.This replacement fits my vacuum cleaner perfectly as its dimensions (6" x 4" x 1/2") are the same size as the original one perfectly. Shame on Sears for selling these filters for almost 80% more than I bought them online! This product and the seller deserve at least 5 stars from me!
