Not a bad product just useless

The container looks like a decent build. It even has dainty little stuffed eggs and cupcake liners. The only problem is that I bought it to put a cake in. I didn't believe my husband said the cake wouldn't fit in after dinner. The ad and label say it's 12.5 inches. Not inside! It's 11 inches, maybe 11.125. Guess the outside diameter of a 9.5" pyrex cymbal? Around 11.25! Why would they make anything less than the most popular brand of cake stand? You couldn't go 1/2"-1" taller? Only gave stars because it works well if you want an overpriced tortilla container.
