I have a lamp in the center of my living room and I need something very unobtrusive that I can use to walk under the carpet and get to the power source about 8 feet away without anyone noticing and tripping over it . As you can see from the picture it is very thin and transparent so I couldn't ask for more. It completely solved my problem hence 5 stars from me but I would like to mention that the lamp plug doesn't really fit this extension cord as it doesn't fit a standard polarized plug. BUT I put it about half way in and that was enough to power my lamp so that's all I care about.
