It comes with instructions and getting to the fork was easier than I thought. Truly plug and play. Well tested and suitable for the car. Great alternative to splicing wires. ONE PROBLEM: The fuse for this module is located near where it plugs in, BEHIND the wall of the wheel arch, which hides it. You can mark its location for future reference because if problems arise it's never in a well-lit store and it's easy to forget it's even there, especially when hidden. Nobody is listening to me, but the manufacturer should make it more accessible by lengthening the pigtail so the fuse is in a convenient and visible place. JMHO!
