Nice inexpensive bookcase

We bought this bookcase for our daughter's room when we couldn't find the same bookcase we bought from Target a few years ago. It is comparable to the Target Regal in size, price and quality. It was easy to collect. I was able to build it myself in about half an hour (while watching our two kids). Items were well packaged, no missing or damaged parts. In terms of quality, this is your go-to chipboard furniture. It doesn't have to be as durable as solid wood, but you don't pay as much as solid wood furniture either. This was good for us as we wanted something smaller and cheaper to store our children's books. The back of the bookshelf is simply a folded piece of fairly sturdy cardboard nailed to the frame. If you've ever assembled an inexpensive piece of furniture, you'll be familiar with this type of cardboard pad. It's not terrible I guess, but more so than your standard out of the box box. Once nailed down, it provides the shelf with the support it needs. I could move the shelf myself. It's not hard when there's nothing on it. The shelves can be adjusted to the desired height and can also be adjusted later if desired. I wouldn't recommend moving a shelf with stuff on it; I think this will cause it to break or become less stable. I've moved it twice and emptied the contents first with no problems or damage to the shelf. Overall this is a decent shelf for a low price. So if you keep in mind that it's not solid wood and treat it accordingly, you'll find it's a good buy.
