Review on CPU Cooler Enermax ETS-T50 AX Silent Edition by Adam Koakowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

Big, heavy. The coloring is of high quality, it will not peel off from the slightest touch of staples and a screwdriver. Looks solid. The fan is 140 mm, it works from 530 to 1100 rpm, it cannot be completely turned off using PWM, it resists. It’s hard to tell by pressure or air flow, but if you feel it with your palm, the result is not impressive. If desired, you can finish with a more powerful propeller. Ryzen 5 2600x at 3900 MHz, in the stress test from AIDA64 (~125W thermal pack) holds at 62 ° -65 °. At the same time, the fan runs at 100% / 1100 rpm, but only turbulent sounds of air are heard, it does not buzz. It works a little louder than 140 mm from the noctua, these are for blowing air into the case. In idle ~ 35 ° at minimum speed.

Pros
  • Well made, nice to hold in your hands. Quite easy to set up and install. Pretty quiet fan. Processing mating surface is good, not perfect for grinding, but even. Shifted to the back wall, does not overlap the memory strips, at all.
Cons
  • I would like to get additional brackets for installing a fan. And those that are - are designed for holes like a 120mm fan. Ordinary, at 140mm, you just can’t stick it in. But these are just quibbles. Since it is large, it covers the very first PCI slot. 😒 there was an idea to tuck in the bracket for vertical installation of the video card. Did not work out.
