Review on 🚀 Banks 41837 RAM Air Intake System: Enhancing Performance and Efficiency by Jerome Brooks

2014 JKU six-speed. High quality system and relatively easy installation. I shopped quite a bit and just couldn't go with the snorkel system because I just couldn't look and didn't want to cut my hood open. Yes, that means I don't need 4ft of water, but I'll still only slightly crawl my jeep. The only thing to be very careful about is removing and replacing the IAT sensor as it is very delicate and the instructions imply it comes out easily. It's not like this. It takes a little effort to pull it all the way out of the steerer tube. This system definitely changes the sound as it becomes apparent that the air flows more freely into the intake duct. I haven't noticed an increase in pant seat performance because the reality is you really can't if it's just a few horsepower. I noticed a little when I finally matched the ECM calibration and exhaust. I only rode it about 1000 miles before other mods and didn't notice any noticeable change in mileage. Overall the system sounds good, looks good and gives a nice performance boost when combined with other mods. I would recommend this to others.
