🚀 Banks 41837 RAM Air Intake System: Enhancing Performance and Efficiency Review

It's hard to say what the impact has been so far. I already had a performance exhaust. With the 3.6 engine there is not much difference in the sound. Performance and sound seemed much better on my 3.8 liter JK. I can't tell any difference in gas mileage, but haven't towed a trailer with off-road bikes yet to see if HP feels different. At least there seems to be peace of mind as I feel like I have more HP.

Installed on my 15 year old JKU. As far as performance gains go, going crazy isn't enough. It does seem to help torque a bit as acceleration is smoother in high gear/low rpm. Very easy installation - the change in sound is amazing when you step on it for the first time, big difference from stock. No roar during coasting as it only makes noticeable noise at 2000 rpm. If you pick it up and step on the gas, it'll draw quite a few looks. I didn't notice any noticeable difference at idle, so it's pretty weird if you want it. I've always been skeptical of cold air intakes, but I noticed some hesitation on my 16 foot 4 door Wrangler Rubicon after a 2.5 inch lift and 33 inch tires.
