30 cm diameter, very thin. It actually looks bigger than it does on the product page. I think it's hard. They came in a pair which is great for my kitchen. I also have a short quilt in my kitchen, so the thinner the better. There's also a switch that lets you adjust the light level, which is useful for many applications. I like bright white light, so I choose maximum brightness. It's great because I can do it later if I want. The bracket on the back fits most boxes, so no modifications are required. Later I will show a picture of the installation and operation to show you the quality of the light. I need my arm man for this job because I'm not that good at it.
