Overview 3" Dimmable LED Gimbal Downlight w/ J-Box, 7W (50W Equiv), 500lm, Airtight PLUS: These are the nicest downlights I've ever seen. They look very expensive and don't Made of plastic like other products in this price range They look better than the photo I'm very happy with the way they look I was worried they wouldn't be bright enough with only 500 lumens I have 6 units installed in my kitchen and there is enough light. They should be a bit brighter, preferably 600-700lm. Very easy to install. The quick connectors are very tight. They are transparent so you can see if your cable is fully connected. The junction box is nice designed and makes installation easier.CONS: There is a small problem with a design flaw.The springs are mounted on the outside of the body,so the hole needs to be drilled 3.5" to accommodate the Fed to create. . The springs must be embedded in the body. The instructions are printed so small that I had to use a magnifying glass. The paper was the size of a playing card. It would not cost anything to print instructions larger. I don't understand why I see this so often in products. Installation instructions are not required, everything is very simple!
