All the Fel-Pro gaskets I've used have been of high quality and last a long time. I tried cheap eBay for a test and after 10,000 miles it was already hard and leaking a lot of oil. The old Fel-Pro I replaced it with ran over 100,000 miles before it started leaking and even then it was still soft. I suspect the cause of the leak was that it had been compressed for over 100,000 years and could no longer seal airtight. I suggest paying an extra five or ten dollars for this pad which lasts ten times longer than the cheap ones. If you have a V6/8 that requires you to remove the headers to get to the back row, don't even think of getting away with a cheap gasket.
