I live in a hot climate in Central California. I also wear glasses and don't want to carry extra prescription sunglasses with me all the time. This hat was my choice. Are you going to watch a baseball/soccer game? The hat is perfect. do you do gardening The hat is perfect. I use it most when I swim in our pool. It perfectly protects your eyes from the sun and the fabric dries quickly when wet. I bought a black color and am happy with it. I mostly wear dark colors to match different outfits. It has a little logo on it, but that doesn't bother me. You can black it out with permanent marker if you want a cap with no logo. The adjustable strap is really nice, it's a more modern take on velcro where it's not noisy and hair doesn't seem to get stuck in it. We were able to adjust it to fit my daughter's head so she could wear it on outings. She is sensitive to heat and says she likes to wear them outside.
