Review on LACUISINE Grommet Handheld Portable Grommets by Robert Moloney

This is one of those products where you should probably ignore both 5 star and 1 star reviews. This eyelet tool does not deserve a 1 star if used for its intended purpose ie quick simple projects where durability is not critical. Any review that mentions these high quality jacks should also be ignored as these people have obviously never used a truly high quality jack. I bought this hoping to make a vinyl porch railing with stainless steel grommets. It doesn't fit at all. It doesn't match the sockets and the ones supplied are too sharp and flimsy for this type of use. I think this works best for adding grommets to temporary cardboard signs and similar projects. BENEFITS: Super fast and easy to use - much faster than traditional eyelet tools that require a hammer. CONS: Does not fit high end grommets like CS Osborne. cheap, sharp and not suitable for hanging plastic or vinyl. Too expensive - this is a cheap Chinese instrument that doesn't really cost more than $25.
