These sensors are all made of plastic, including the lenses, which scratch when rubbed with a cloth. The mounting system is a giant plastic nut threaded around the entire gauge on the back and makes mounting difficult in a few locations on the dash. It might be fine on a three-hole panel under the dash, but with limited access it's almost impossible to tighten the mounting nuts enough. My gauges spin a bit because I can't tighten them enough. The temperature needle reacts to a cold start for a long time. I want to buy higher quality sensors. Live and learn I guess. made as cheaply as possible.
