Honestly, at over $1 a can, this is one of the most expensive cat foods out there. We have had two cats in our family for a number of years and have just adopted a third! One of our cats is on FLUTD and as such we are taking extra precautions regarding his health and diet. Cats with FLUTD need to drink as much water as possible and will also benefit from eating plenty of wet food. Unfortunately, we are the pickiest eaters. We tried ALL the limited ingredient wet foods we could find. When you open a can of Applaws, it actually looks and smells like food. The tuna looks like a can of albacore tuna, and the shrimp contains small, cat-sized chunks of shrimp. This is the first wet food he eats every day. sometime sometime! Although, as I said, the price is a bit prohibitive, we now only buy this cat food (for about 2 months). All three cats love all three flavors in this variety of packaging and we plan to try other Applaws products in the near future.
