I was surprised and impressed!

The pattern matched the room layout really well, the duvet itself was light, quite thin BUT it was really warm and comfortable. The best part is that the king size I ordered really fits and even bigger. For the first time in my relationship, we're not fighting over a cover! (Remember that we have two dogs that also lie on the bedspreads which makes it difficult to move around at night. But we have no problem with this bedspread and I am very impressed and happy. It folds up really well too As for softness, a little rough right out of the box and didn't really get any softer after the first wash, but with all the good things this product has delivered, a little roughness is the least of my worries.
