The microphone is good for this price range. Scissors seem to fit too. The shock mount and table clamp are unreliable. The table clamp fits snugly and the part that tightens ends at an angle. It should be tight like any other clamp, but this one is loose. The rubber pad failed almost immediately because I was trying to make it tight enough to hold it in place. When I move the scissor arm, I have to be careful with the movement of the bracket so that it doesn't suddenly lose traction with the table and the scissor arm falls to the ground. The shock-absorbing mount consists of two elastic rubber bands similar to a bungee cord. It attaches to the tabs on the frame and to the bracket that holds the microphone. The elastic keeps coming off the tongues. When I move the mic with the spring clip, the rubber bands break and need to be reattached. This is more of a nuisance than a fatal problem, they're easy to put back on, but the tabs really need to hold the elastic tighter. Some people might not want to play around with a rubber band. I could squeeze the tabs tighter and risk overdoing it and stopping the movement of the elastic that is required for the binding to work.
