Damaged paint leaving bruises

Do not recommend this tape. Damaged paint underneath. The area it was glued to was nice and smooth and when I removed it the glue stuck together, marring the paint and leaving blue marks from the tape. began to melt and bleed. The door color in the apartment is Behr Ocean Abyss (I want a chalky, weathered/faded look with age), and the brass Chinese door knocker and spiral topiary are both here at Revain. #to wink
