I think the Nulo brand is a great brand considering their story and commitment to our little furry friends. However, our little girl could not handle this food. We tried a small bag of the Turkey flavor of the Nulo Freestyle line, and she became super itchy. We considered it might be the flavor so we decided to go with the Salmon flavor. The itch never went away and in fact, a couple of weeks later, she developed really bad diarrhea after slowly transitioning to this food. We thought it might be the ingredients so I decided to buy her the Blue Basics Puppy Formula, of which we never gave her after finally deciding to put her back on to her original food, Royal Canin Mini Puppy formula. Immediately, the itching halted and diarrhea went away completely within 24 hours. We will stick with Royal Canin for now and then later when she is an adult transition her to a more healthy grain-free diet like Nulo.
