I really think if you are interested you should try it. I liked the concept. Pelvic and lower back movement was excellent. I didn't like the carpeted base and the disc. (Photos we tried to take but I'm not sure if they show the clarity I was hoping for.) After about 9 days of use it straightened up again and became slippery. So slippery that when I leaned forward a little, the round base of the saddle just slipped out of the base, slamming me onto the ground. My students laughed, but I didn't feel like laughing. I would suggest that the base and extra disc that comes with the saddle are covered in some kind of gummy/sticky material. Maybe something between a shelf liner and the stuff you use to open pickle jars. You can still move, but without completely slipping.
