This little thing is very bright. If I were to actually use it I would have to be very careful with placement as the thing is irritating to the eyes. To be honest I wouldn't mind how bright it is if there was a way to adjust it. It also tilts slightly towards the viewer, which makes matters worse. For now I've put it in the nano tank that sits on the bottom shelf. I have no doubt that this thing will give the plants enough light.
