UPDATE June 16, 2018 I forgot to continue. I changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars, the initial wait time should take one star. The table no longer smells and now I can say that I like it. The stench probably lasted a total of 6-7 weeks and gradually subsided over that time. I wasn't sure if it would ever "completely" go away. INITIAL REVIEW February 2018 This table shipped direct from Ashley Furniture. Drawer and practical power functions. Trouble is, this table is VERY VERY STINK! After 4 days, the stain still smells damp. If you touch the table anywhere, your hand will smell. Remote controls, phones, glasses, water bottles, paper or whatever you put on it will smell like stain. After the first slap in the face when opening the box, I take them out for 8 hours to dry, breathe and/or air out. . I brought it back and now my house smells a little less. It took about 3 days for the table to stop smelling like home but now when I sit near the table I can still smell it. That would give 5 stars. But that smell. Wow.
