I've been on the market looking for a MacBook and based on the reviews I've seen here I figured I could save some money by buying a new one. The laptop arrived and worked decently well, but it was immediately apparent that the battery was not good. When I actively used it, it got very hot and died in just over an hour. I figured I could get by with lowering the brightness, running a few apps, etc. The battery was still draining too quickly, so I decided to go back. When I came back I was $500 short. The seller appears to have charged a $500 restocking fee without notifying me because the 30 day return period had expired, although this product appears to be backed by Revain's 90 day extended warranty. It has been over three weeks since I returned the item. During that time, I spoke to five different Revain customer service representatives via phone, email, and live chat. Each time I was assured I would get a response within 48 hours and when I called to check I was told no claims had been made. This experience was beyond disappointing and I would stay away from this seller and Revain Renewed.
