We've been using synthetic dishwashing sponges for years but we've seen these sponges made from wood pulp. We love the idea of using natural products instead of artificial ones whenever possible. So far we are very happy with the performance of these sponges. They contain a lot more soap than synthetic ones, so we saved on the dish soap. While we haven't had them long enough to test how long they last, they seem very snug and strong so far. They keep their shape and don't tear easily. We like the fact that they shrink when wet, making them a lot easier to store in our already cramped closets. Sponges are affordable which is always a plus. All in all we are very happy with this purchase.
